Maria’s House is more than just a guesthouse; it’s a home filled with memories and love. This house originally belonged to my parents, who raised me and my sister here. My mother, Maria, was the heart of this home, and her warmth made everyone feel welcome. After the passing of my parents and sister, the house felt empty. It was difficult to see such a vibrant home without life.

I decided to transform it into a guesthouse, not just to honour my family’s legacy, but to bring life back into this place. I wanted to see people enjoying its beauty again, creating their own memories within its walls. Over time, I made additions to the house, expanded the space, and added all the comforts modern guests could need. Today, Maria’s House stands as a blend of tradition and comfort.

While I can’t always be here in person, I’ve entrusted caretakers who treat the house with the same love and respect it deserves. It’s a place where people from all walks of life can feel at home, and in a way, it keeps my family’s spirit alive.
